Image-Line SliceX Free Download

SliceX uses advanced beat detection algorithms to slice song / percussion samples into pieces and play them independently of a piano roll or controller. If the wave file contains slice / area data then it will be used automatically instead of the beat-detection algorithm. A new method of slicing is a sample editor plug-in from SliceSex Image-Line that allows you to slice drum breaks and other audio samples into individual areas and assign them to independent MIDI notes. Once sliced, you can map areas to your MIDI controller for further manipulation and arrangement.
SliceX gives you ADSR control over each slice independently, allowing you to dig out the envelope of a sampled drum brake, like you would personally hit from a store-bought sample pack. This allows you to add modulation effects to the pan, speed, filter and other parameters of each slice using LFO, input velocity, and other sources. SliceX also has advanced time-stretching functions that allow you to adjust the speed of your samples globally, or with greater accuracy per-slice.
